We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSE Advisor

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities 
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Risk Assessment and Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and assess risks in the workplace.
Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all activities are in compliance with HSE laws, regulations, and company policies.
Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents or near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Training and Awareness: Provide training to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and hazard awareness.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance reports. Prepare reports for management regarding safety performance.
Developing Safety Plans: Create and update safety management plans, including emergency response procedures and risk mitigation strategies.
Environmental Protection: Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to waste management, emissions, and pollution control.
Safety Equipment and PPE: Ensure that employees have access to and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety tools.
Promoting a Safety Culture: Foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness throughout the organization by engaging with employees and management.
Requirements

A University Degree, preferably BSc. or equivalent in Engineering and Physical Sciences (Professional qualification like NISP level 3 will be added advantage
8 years post-graduation experience, out of which a minimum of 4 years should be in a similar position in the Oil and Gas Sector.
Ability to drive and possession of valid driver’s license is required
